Encouraging Hope Edition 1– Patience This issue reminds us that our timing for God to bless us is not always the same as God’s timing to bless us. Often we must wait and be obedient to God’s Word before we will receive the blessing that we seek. |
Encouraging Hope Edition 2– Don’t Lose Hope This issue reminds us that God when we place our faith and hope in His Faithfulness to His Word that we find the peace and security that only God can provide. This is a revelation for most of us because we seem to find it difficult to believe that God could love us when in our sin and failures we may be tempted not to love ourselves. |
Encouraging Hope Edition 3– Rejecting Fear This issue reminds us that when we take counsel of our fears that we paralyze ourselves in thought and action. This is why our fears are one of the weapons that Satan likes most to use. When we choose to give our fears to God we are inviting Him into the suffering caused by our fears and exercising our faith in Him to work out all things for our good (Romans 8:28). |
Encouraging Hope Edition 4– Trusting God This issue reminds us that our needs are opportunities for us to grow our faith in trusting God, rather than a source of anger. We must trust God in the tough times and in the good times. We know that in trusting God during tough times that we must override our natural desire to worry. In doing this, we find that we find the peace and security that only God can provide. This is a revelation for most of us because we seem to find it difficult to believe that God could love us when in our sin and failures we may be tempted not to love ourselves |

Encouraging Hope Edition 5–Keep Praising God This issue reminds us God is near to the praises of His people (so if you want to see God at work in your life, praise Him in all of the little things each day). Praising God in the little things each day will cause our faith to grow to believe Him for the big things in life that we need. |
Encouraging Hope Edition 6–You Are So Special to God This issue reminds us that God created each of us to be unique and that He loves that uniqueness about us. He knew that you were going to be in prison and has a plan for your life (Jeremiah 29:11) to use your experiences in prison to bring you new life from the circumstances of your life that have caused you pain. |
Encouraging Hope Edition 7–It’s Time to Change Your Mind This issue reminds us that the thoughts of our mind become self-fulfilling prophecies in behavior. Therefore, if we want to start seeing life from a better perspective then we must change our mind and start believing better things about ourselves, the people in our lives, and God. |
Encouraging Hope Edition 8–You Are a New Creation This issue reminds us that in Christ we are now ready to start a new life based upon the truth of His Word and the freedom of His Spirit. |

Encouraging Hope Edition 11–Because God Loves Us So Much This issue reminds us that the love of God for us is stronger than any other motivating force on this earth as it provides forgiveness for the sins of all humankind and restores relationship with God. A man asked Jesus once, “how much do you love me”? Jesus stretched His arms open as wide as he can (just like on the cross) and said “this much”. |

Encouraging Hope Edition 13–Happiness- A Choice of Heart This issue reminds us that we must choose to overcome our circumstances to be happy. Satan will try to rob your happiness through bad circumstances. But, the joy that Jesus gives does not depend on our circumstances; it is based on our relationship to God |
Encouraging Hope Edition 14–God Wants Us to Live Free This issue reminds us that we can live free in spirit even when our body is confined in prison. Freedom in spirit is life. |
Encouraging Hope Edition 15–Tell It to Jesus This issue encourages us to tell Jesus everything about our life (the good times, the bad times, when we did something right, and when we failed). Being open and honest with Him is what Peter describes as “casting all of our care upon Him” (I Peter 5:7) |
